DPO-2725: Junior Level Test Analyst



Location: AL - Huntsville
Clearance Requirement: SECRET

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Candidate will provide engineering expertise while providing programmatic and technical support. He/She must be able to assist in the analysis and reporting phase of test. He/She should be knowledgeable in one or more of the following areas:

. Analysis techniques
. Statistics and probability theory
. Technical report writing.

Candidate will coordinate amongst organizations, facilities, programs, and personnel for tests. He/she will assist in collecting and characterizing test data as well as support the development of the necessary test documentation to present the scientific findings. The ability to write software scripts is a plus.

Responsibilities: Serve as a Junior Level Test Analyst. Some specific responsibilities include:
-Support test analysis
-Assist in collecting and characterizing test data
-Prepare and coordinate test documents
-Review/comment on external inquiries and, as required, provide suggested draft replies
-Draft white papers, point papers, etc.
-Provide inputs to periodic meetings, activity reports, etc.
-Provide other support as required
-Ability to write software scripts a plus

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
. 0 - 5 years experience
. The candidate must have a minimum of a Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
. A working knowledge or able to quickly understand the BMD system with a technical background in the engineering discipline
. Ability to work and produce products in a rapid paced, high stress environment
. Must have high-level organizational, process and planning skills
. Must have excellent interpersonal and team communication skills
. Demonstrated ability to work independently and also work as part of a collaborative team with limited oversight and guidance
. Self-starter able to "hit the ground running"
. Excellent, established computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Office 2007) to include Power Point, Word, and Excel is required.
. Familiarity with basic Internet/Information sharing portals and website/database applications.
. The candidate must have interest in broadening their career path by working in a challenging and dynamic environment.
. The candidate must be eligible to obtain a Secret Clearance. An active Secret Clearance is preferred.
