DPO-2743: Junior Level Test Execution Engineer



Location: AL - Huntsville
Clearance Requirement: SECRET

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Candidate will provide engineering expertise while providing programmatic and technical support. Must be educated in the test execution phase of test and knowledgeable in one or more of the following areas:

. The allocation of test resources, test infrastructure, and personnel
. Test practices
. Modeling and Simulation
. Verification, Validation, and Accreditation

He/she will assist in developing policies, documentation, requirements, and deconflicting test schedules. He/she will provide oversight, overall accountability, and execute a test. Candidate should be able to coordinate amongst organizations, facilities, programs, and personnel for tests.

Responsibilities: Serve as a Junior Level Test Execution engineer. Some specific responsibilities include:

. Provide test execution support
. Assist in developing policies, test documentation, and requirements
. Assist in deconflicting test schedules
. Provide oversight, accountability and assist in executing a test
. Assist in the preparation and coordination of test documents
. Review/comment on external inquiries and, as required, provide suggested draft replies
. Draft white papers, point papers, etc.
. Provide inputs to periodic meetings, activity reports, etc.
. Provide other support as required

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
. 0 - 5 years of experience
. The candidate must have a minimum of a Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline, advanced degree desired.
. A working knowledge or able to quickly understand the BMD system with a technical background in the engineering discipline
. Ability to work and produce products in a rapid paced, high stress environment. Must have high-level organizational, process and planning skills
. Must have excellent interpersonal and team communication skills
. Demonstrated ability to work independently and also work as part of a collaborative team with limited oversight and guidance.
. Self-starter able to "hit the ground running"
. Excellent, established computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Office 2007) to include Power Point, Word, and Excel is required
. Familiarity with basic Internet/Information sharing portals and website/database applications
. The candidate must have interest in broadening their career path by working in a challenging and dynamic environment.
. Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain
